A rare opportunity presents itself when Frances Segelman, Sculptor to the Royals and international celebrities, will carve a bust of Holocaust Survivor, Arek Hersh in Leeds on Sunday 1st October.

In less than two hours, Leeds born Frances, most famous for her sculptor of Billy Bremner at the gates of Leeds Utd, will sculpt this iconic individual from the Leeds community.

Bonhams Auction House will be present at the event to value your art and sculpture so please do bring your artefacts along.

There will also be a Silent Auction and professional art exhibition on the theme of ‘Memories and Survival’, in which the artwork of Frances Segelman , her daughter Victoria Harris who has painted Arek ; Philip Naviasky, Joash Woodrow and Willy Tirr will be included. These paintings can be viewed in the window at Headrow Galleries on Harrogate Road.

Unique Jewish cartoons from the ‘Leylands to Leeds 17 Book’ will also be on sale as postcards and limited edition prints – the Yeadon Bus (‘ Yidden it’s for us’) and the’ Chicken Soup Penicillin’ drip for the Hospital patient in the Herzl Moser Hospital.
